Here are summaries for select studies on Dirty Electricity impacts.

Power quality affects teacher wellbeing & student behavior in three schools Dirty electricity was reduced by more than 90% in the 3 schools. During this period teacher health improved as did student behavior. Headaches, general weakness, dry eyes/mouth, facial flushing, asthma, skin irritations, overall mood, including depression and anxiety improved significantly among staff.

A New Electromagnetic Exposure Metric: High Frequency Voltage Transients Associated with Increased Cancer Incidence. The cancer incidence in the teachers at this school is unusually high and is strongly associated with high frequency voltage transients (dirty electricity), which may be a universal carcinogen, similar to ionizing radiation.

Dirty electricity, chronic stress, neurotransmitters and disease.Dirty electricity has been associated with cancer, diabetes and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in humans. Epidemiological evidence also links dirty electricity to cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and suicide. Neurotransmitters may be biomarkers for dirty electricity. “We believe that dirty electricity is a chronic stressor of electrified populations and is responsible for many of their disease patterns.”

  • Chaotic Electrical Energy – non-sinusoidal, or non-continuous waveforms. (i.e. modulated wave forms, pulsed frequencies, alternating current (AC) and electromagnetic  interference (EMI) also referred to as dirty electricity. There is evidence that the innate  immune system perceives non-sinusoidal waveforms as foreign invaders. Dr. Olle  Johansson’s section in the BioInitiative Report (4) points to the proliferation of mast cells triggered by modulated electromagnetic fields (EMF). The innate immune system then  mounts an inflammatory response, which includes the release of cytokines and histamines.
